We started our gardening segment this week by examining seeds. We then put beans in jars and will wait for them to germinate. Ms. Edwards made some lovely seed heads (grass seeds) with us and we look forward to snipping their ‘hair’ when they grow.
On Monday 18th April Ms. Case came in and helped us to sow cucumber, lettuce, sweetcorn and strawberries. The seeds are in our classroom and we plan to plant them out in May. The Case family also kindly donated some mature plants.
